Seventy five years ago, the Bank of Canada issued its first series of bank notes, an anniversary that is celebrated with this fine silver collectable coin. Each denomination featured a member of the royal family or former Canadian prime minister on the front with an allegorical figure on the back, representing Canada’s growing agricultural, industrial, and commercial prosperity. Each denomination was available in English or French, a practice that ended with the introduction of bilingual notes in 1937.
All collectable coins have been previously owned. Conditions will vary.
