This fine silver collectable coin celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Silver Maple Leaf (SML) coin, Canada's silver bullion currency, enhanced with gold plating. First introduced in 1988, the SML's signature leaf design hasn't changed much over the last 30 years. Several commemorative and special editions have been issued throughout the coin's history, including those featuring unique technology (holograms, colour applications), privy marks, and a variety of themes. All SML coins are minted in one troy ounce of .9999 pure silver, making it one of the world's purest silver bullion coins.
