This fine silver two coin collectable set celebrates the 30th anniversary of the loonie, Canada's $1 circulation coin, with two iconic designs. Loonies were introduced on June 30, 1987. Thirty years later, it's hard to imagine Canada's one-dollar coin without the solitary loon on its reverse. In truth, it wasn't the original design intended for the coin. Had the original dies not vanished in transit, our one-dollar coin would have featured the Voyageur image that first appeared on a dollar coin in 1935.
All collectable coins have been previously owned. Conditions will vary.
