A collaboration between The Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post has produced this collectable fine silver coin and stamp set featuring the Sable Island horse (Equus ferus caballus) and its foal in their natural habitat. This small, dark coloured, feral horse is found on Sable Island in Nova Scotia. They were brought to the island in the 1700s, although how they arrived is debated. Sable Island horses have very shaggy coats, manes, and tails, especially during the winter.
All collectable coins have been previously owned. Conditions will vary.
