This pure gold collectable coin features the official floral emblem of the Arctic, the purple saxifrage (Saxifraga oppositifolia). Also known as French-knot moss, or aupilaktunnguat in Inuktitut, the Indigenous language of Nunavut, it is one of the first spring flowers, continuing to flower during the whole summer in localities where the snow melts later. The purple and lilac coloured flowers grow to about 13 mm in diameter.
All collectable coins have been previously owned. Conditions will vary.
