A number of grotesques and gargoyles add fanciful flair to the outer walls of the Peace Tower. This ten ounce fine silver collectable coin features one of the keepers of parliament, the Unicorn, enhanced with gold plating. Found carved into the east side of the arched ceremonial entrance, the Unicorn, as the heraldic creature of Scotland, holds the Shield of the Arms of Canada and carries the royal flag of France.
