This ten-ounce fine silver collectable coin is inspired by the original maple bough design of our early circulation coins (1858-1936). This updated design has replaced the Victorian boughs with a wreath of different maple leaves, one from each of the 10 species that are native to Canada. The 10 native Acer species, which are (clockwise from top right): the bigleaf maple (A. macrophyllum), striped maple (A. pensylvanicum), Manitoba maple (A. negundo), Douglas maple (A. glabrum), mountain maple (A.spicatum), sugar maple (A. saccharum), vine maple (A. circinatum), red maple (A. rubrum), black maple (A. nigrum), and silver maple (A. saccharinum).
All collectable coins have been previously owned. Conditions will vary.
