Since its creation in 1972, more than 5000 members of the Canadian Armed Forces have been appointed to the Order of Military Merit. This fine silver collectable coin illustrates the Order in full colour and pays homage to those who bravely served our country. This is one of Canada's highest honours which proudly recognizes the individuals whose dedication and commitment to their country go beyond the call of duty, and through their meritorious service embody the Order's motto: Officium ante commodum/Service before self.
